Join an all-inclusive magic school live-action roleplaying game (larp) set in an authentic British boarding school. Long weekend overnight stay at the 19th century school, all meals and hot drinks included, pre-written character on request or you can write your own, plus the game, obviously! Bothwell School of Witchcraft LARP explores the first three days of term at a magic school, with all the relations and fantastic adventures that holds, focusing on this year’s theme of stories, folklore, history & memory, and the power of words. Go to class, encounter magical beings, tell tall tales, and experience amazing special effects. House tie provided, bring your wand! You can read more about what to expect for this run here!
Signing up and paying the participation fee means you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted our terms and conditions and our code of conduct. You also understand that the design of this game is different to previous iterations of the game and therefore you commit to consuming the Player Handbook in order to understand the rules, tone, and play-style of this game ahead of purchase.

Supporter tickets are for those who wish to help us make sure the event is a success – specifically the money will be used to help pay for the lower priced school dorm tickets offered, help pay for a small amount of fully free or heavily subsidised tickets, and then to increase the budget for the artistic crew in the scenography department, to supplement their low low asking prices. Please only use this tier if you’re willing and able to without hardship, and in the knowledge that we will still offer the lower priced School Dorm tier regardless of number of Supporter contributions received.
School Dorm places are lower in price and include all the same as the Standard fee, with the exception that the rooming is in ‘school dormitory’ style, sharing 4, 6, or 10 to a room with bunkbeds (2, 3, or 5 bunks per room). 20 tickets available. This tier is aimed at those who find the game financially accessible with a lower priced participation fee, and for whom sharing in bunked accommodation is suitable.
