Castle Czocha is a medieval castle but it’s also a hotel. Most rooms have a 2 star hotel standard. Some are more luxurious, some a bit less so. The most comfortable rooms are reserved for people with specific (health) needs.
Rooms will be occupied by 2-5 people. Some rooms have a shared bathroom and toilet.
Unfortunately the game takes place in a 12th century castle. As such, there are no elevators. We would not recommend people with mobility issues attend, due to the lack of elevators and the castles at times very steep stairs.
Yes, there’s a parking lot near the castle.
No, day to day the castle operates as a hotel and things such as towels, pillows, blankets, sheets etc. will be provided.
Yes, it is possible to book an extra night before the game. Look in the Extras category, and find Early Arrivals for the event you are attending.
The castle is a an actual 12th century castle, and while there is heating in the rooms, a lot of the common areas are maintained in their historical state. Pack scarves, sweaters and woolen socks. Those clothes will fit right in anyway.
The tavern at Czocha only accepts Tavern Tokens.
We organise a bus from Berlin Brandenburg airport that brings people to the castle and back again (bus tickets can be bought on our website). However, you’re very welcome to come by your own means. The castle is only accessible by car. There’s no nearby public transport.
College of Wizardry takes place at Castle Czocha, Sucha, Lesna, southern Poland.
