If you bought the ticket before casting has taken place, you will simply fill out the casting when it opens.
If you bought the ticket after casting has taken place, you will take over the character assigned to the player you purchased your ticket from. You might be able to make changes to the character (such as which groups it belongs to), but depending on the state of casting for the event we might not be able to offer you what you’re looking for.
Yes, our characters are written in a gender neutral way and you can interpret them in any way you want. At the game we use HE/HER/THEM pronouns.
Yes, pre-written characters are just a guideline. You’re welcome to change them. The only thing that can’t be changed is their year, path and house. Drop us a line at [email protected], and we’ll see what we can do to help.
While you’re welcome to bring your own character ideas, we’ve got many wonderful pre-written characters that you can play as well. If you’ve bought a ticket to our event, you’ll eventually receive an email that includes a link to our player form. In this form we’ll ask you if you wish to play a pre-written character or not. If you’ve check “yes”, we’ll send you one a few months before the game.
